Assalamualaikum :)
This morning, I decided to write something about what I've been doing for the past one and a half months, that is, working my ass out!
I started my career as an Sime Darby trainee last July. I had to attend a 3 weeks in-class training in Genting. It was a great experience. Not just I got to know new people but as time went by, we became a big family.
I am currently attached to Sime Darby R&D under the Plantation Division. My head office is in Carey Island but I had been assigned a task on bio-ethanol project in Batang Berjuntai. So, for the time being (and may be for the whole year), I have to travel from Banting to Batang Berjuntai every morning and evening, back and forth. Although the journey is very tiring but, I really enjoy what I'm doing now.
These are the boots I have to wear everyday! This means, I have to forget all beautiful office wear, high heels and make-ups. My office uniform consist of a safety helmet, a safety jacket and these safety boots! I can wear any kind of jeans I want and any kind of tees I prefer. So relax but very unladylike!
I love my job for now and hope I can excel in what I'm currently doing. I'm no longer a girl who will call his dad for money. I'm a working lady who earns money at the end of the month. I'm a lady who has big responsibilities now. I'm grateful for what I have now. Alhamdulillah!
